The restaurant was excellent with an interesting selection of dishes. We stayed because the hotel was five minutes from the port, ferry crossing to the UK, and was dog friendly.
Quite old fashioned and could do with a make-over.

The hotel and restaurant were in desperate need of redecoration and renovation

Helpful staff and size of room with easy chairs and comfortable bed.
Dinner was disappointing compared with our experience at 7 other hotels and rstaurants during our trip through France. Flavours were subdued and not what we would expect from a gourmet experience. Would recommend hotel but not restaurant.

The location was excellent as my father wished to visit the Pegasus bridge as he is a veteran from D-day.
My mother was very unsure about climbing the stairs as there is no handrail. She is 82 and needed my support especially coming down the stairs. In terms of value for money the cost of the breakfast (good) should be included in the room rate.

Dinner was good, waiter was friendly and helpful, food was regional and pleasant.
It was disappointing, not romantic, room was basic only, carpet with bleach stains, paint peeling, bathroom clean but bare bones, wall paper peeling off, hair dryer broken, halls dingy and dark. Hotel was right off highway, not a beautiful setting. Needs a big face lift.

Nice buiding with character. we stayed in room 3. The bathroom had Ants, the tiles were comming off of the wall above the bath and the shower did not work correctly. Everything was rather dated. This rather spoilt our experience of this expensive hotel.

Was not what the brochure/web page led us to believe. Turned out to be very plain motel type rooms.
